Prisms VR is a VR-based learning platform for K-12 STEM education which provides students with personalized feedback. Its modules, implemented with best practice pedagogy, are developed with assistance from teachers and district administrators and covers subject areas such as mathematical topics including algebra (launched in the Fall of 2021 funded by a SBIR Phase I grant received from the National Science Foundation).
As of January 2024, the company was working on adding new modules including that of highschool level chemistry, biology and physics, among others. Alongside each model Prisms VR also offers features such as 1) Aligned Teacher Toolkit (consisting of a unit curriculum map and a VR implementation guide), 2) Synchronous Teacher Dashboard (allows teachers to monitor progress and input messages directly to students within the VR environment).
Prisms VR’s math content module is priced at USD 24 through an annual subscription model accessible through the Meta Quest store. Pricing for a school district is USD 12 per year, per student.
