Zero-trust data security company, Rubrik, has agreed to acquire Israeli data security posture management (DSPM) company Laminar. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Laminar's DSPM platform uses machine learning to identify vulnerabilities and suggest remediation actions. Rubrik plans to integrate Laminar's technology into its data protection platform, providing enhanced data visibility and mapping capabilities for customers' cloud environments and data storage. This acquisition will also establish a Rubrik R&D center in Tel Aviv. Rubrik, known for its AI and machine learning-powered data security solutions, has raised over $1 billion since its launch in 2014 and was valued at $4 billion in 2021.
