GiMer Medical, founded in 2013, is a Taiwanese medical device company that specializes in electrical stimulation systems for pain management. The company has commercialized groundbreaking biomedical engineering research from National Taiwan University on the effects of electrical stimulation on animals. GiMer Medical's flagship product is GiMer Neuroblock, an implantable spinal cord stimulation (SCS) system designed for chronic pain management. This innovative SCS system is the first of its kind developed in Asia, tapping into the USD 2 billion global market for chronic back pain treatment as of 2016.

In August 2022, GiMer Medical achieved a significant milestone when its SCS system received Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company's second product, StimOn, a non-invasive, wearable pain relief device, was also cleared for marketing in the US in the same month. Leveraging its core neuromodulation technology "+RF," which operates at an ultra-high frequency of 500kHz, StimOn blocks pain signals in nerves, providing relief for various chronic pain conditions.
