London-based Urban-Air Port develops global networks of specialist ground, air, and digital infrastructure to support Urban Logistics across the globe. The company provides ground infrastructure as a service for future air mobility and focuses on designing, developing, manufacturing, selling, and operating ground, air, and digital infrastructure to support sustainable urban air transport, including air taxis and autonomous delivery drones. The company aims to overcome the significant obstacle to sustainable air mobility—which is the lack of suitable ground infrastructure—and create a zero-emission mobility ecosystem that can effectively reduce congestion and air pollution in passenger and cargo transport.

In April 2022 , Urban-Air Port successfully launched Air One, a demonstration of its vertiport technology located in Coventry City Centre, UK. With ambitions to expand globally, the company plans to establish over 200 vertiports within the following five years. These ultra-compact and rapidly deployable operations hubs will serve as command-and-control centers for manned and unmanned aircraft, offering essential services such as drone flights, aircraft command-and-control, eVTOL charging, and cargo loading.

Key customers and partnerships

In January 2021 , Hyundai Motor Group, Coventry City Council and the UK Government partnered with the company to launch the first fully operational urban-air port, Air-One, to demonstrate the potential of urban air mobility. In July 2022 , the company collaborated with Skyroads to develop a ConOps (Concept of Operations) for vertiport and UATM interaction with drones and eVTOL aircraft. Urban-Air Port also collaborated with GKN Aerospace to develop a tailored Air One vertiport concept for mass transit eVTOLs. In June 2023 , Urban-Air Port collaborated with Egis on vertiport engineering and operations

In August 2024, Urban-Air Port partnered with BAI Energy to redevelop and advance aviation infrastructure across Italy, starting with Venice, Piedmont, and Trieste.
