Kentik offers a network intelligence platform to provide analytics and insights on edge, cloud, and hybrid environments to enable enterprises to monitor and optimize their networks. The network analytics offer visibility into the volume and type of traffic navigating the network edge as well as the activity drivers.

The company benefits from its strong customer base of over 250 enterprise customers, spread across 25 countries, including large enterprises such as IBM, Zoom, and Dropbox, among others. Moreover, Kentik also focuses on providing embedded security within its platform to ensure partnering between network and security teams. For instance, in May 2020, it entered into a partnership with Cloudflare (renowned security and reliability firm) for fast mitigation of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.

Going forward, the company intends to invest in improving its product to cater to rising demand, while also furthering efforts to expand business reach and partnerships. Moreover, Kentik utilized long-term debt in its most recent funding round, which limits dilution of ownership and benefits its employees who hold common stock.
