Soci provides a centralized platform for firms to manage multi-location marketing campaigns by allowing marketers to activate targeted content that has been tailored to local audiences. Soci offers solutions for local firms looking to conduct marketing campaigns via local channels such as local pages, listings, and ads while helping enterprise users launch marketing campaigns across the country. According to the firm, in 2020, it welcomed more than 100 new customers representing nearly 30,000 new locations. By September 2021, Soci’s clientele included brands such as Ace Hardware, Anytime Fitness, and the Hertz Corporation.

The firm made its first acquisition in July 2021, when it acquired local-based marketing provider Brandify for an undisclosed amount.

Funding and financials

In March 2023, the company raised USD 120 million in a funding round that included both debt and equity financing led by JMI Equity. It planned to allocate the funds towards platform development, entering new verticals like manufactured goods, pursuing M&As, and expanding its presence internationally. The company also reported a 149% YoY increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR). The round follows its USD 80 million Series D funding round in January 2021.
