DHL Group (FWB: DHL) is a German multinational parcel delivery and supply chain management company with a presence in more than 220 countries. Originally known as Deutsche Post DHL Group (rebranded in 2023), it was listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 2000 and is included in the Euro Stoxx 50 stock market index. It was the second-largest public courier company in the world in terms of revenue in 2023, with revenue of EUR 81.8 billion (~USD 88 billion).

DHL operates through six primary reporting segments:

  1. Express (~30% of total revenue in 2023): Provides time-definite courier and express services worldwide

  2. Global Forwarding, Freight (~24%): Offers international air, ocean, and overland freight forwarding services

  3. Supply Chain (~21%): Provides customized logistics services and solutions worldwide, including warehousing, transportation, and value-added services.

  4. eCommerce (~8%): Focused on international parcel delivery, with core activities including domestic parcel delivery in selected European, Asian, and US markets as well as cross-border services

  5. Post & Parcel Germany (~21%): Handles document and goods transportation, sorting, and delivery within and outside Germany. Its business units include Post Germany, Parcel Germany, and International

  6. Group Functions (~2%): Consists of Corporate Center, Global Business Services (GBS), and Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI)

*Does not include the Consolidation segment, which consists of interdivisional transactions that are eliminated in the Consolidation column.

Europe (excluding Germany) is DHL's largest market, accounting for ~30% of total revenue in 2023, followed by Germany (~26%), the Americas (~22%), Asia-Pacific (~18%), and the Middle East/Africa (~5%).

DHL expected EBIT of EUR 6.0 billion–6.6 billion (~USD 6.5 billion–7.1 billion) and free cash flow, excluding acquisitions and divestments, of ~EUR 3.0 billion in 2024. The company’s medium-term operating profit guidance is EUR 7.5 billion–8.5 billion by 2026. DHL also aims to reduce annual GHG emissions to under 29 million metric tons (33 million metric tons in 2023), electrify 60% of last-mile delivery vehicles, increase the share of sustainable fuels to over 30%, and offer green alternatives for 100% of all core products and services by 2030 .
