Stryker Corporation (NYSE: SYK) is a multinational MedTech company based in Michigan. The company develops and produces medical implants, surgical and imaging technologies, and patient handling and emergency medical equipment. Stryker has been listed on the NYSE since 1979 and generated revenue of USD 18.4 billion in 2022.

Stryker segregates its operations into two reportable segments: MedSurg and Neurotechnology as well as Orthopaedics and Spine. MedSurg includes surgical equipment, endoscopic devices, along with patient handling and emergency medical equipment, among others. Neurotechnology includes neurosurgical, neurovascular, and craniomaxillofacial implant products. Orthopedics products consist primarily of implants used in total joint replacements, such as hip, knee, and shoulder, along with trauma and extremities surgeries. The Spinal segment includes cervical and thoracolumbar systems and a spine enabling technologies portfolio. 

Stryker products are sold in more than 75 countries. The US is the company’s largest market (~74% of total revenue in 2022), followed by the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific regions. Stryker expects its organic net sales growth to be between 7%–8.5% in 2023 and has been working toward carbon-neutralizing all its facilities by 2030.
