Resolution Games is a Swedish AR and VR-based video game development studio founded by Tommy Palm, a developer previously credited for the success of the popular Candy Crush Saga game. Resolution Games’ catalog includes Demeo, a multiplayer VR game that has exceeded USD 1 million in revenue (the studio’s fifth game to do so) and earned the award for the “VR game of the year” at the 2021 VR Awards and other titles such as Blaston, Angry Birds VR, Acron, and Cook-out, which were also well received by players and critics. As of July 2021, Resolution Games had a team of 35 employees.
Resolution Games acquired Swedish studio Zenz VR, known for its VR zombie shooter HordeZ, in July 2022 to strengthen Resolution Games’ development capabilities. The company also acquired Zero Index (November 2021), a game studio and consulting firm that focuses on B2B services in the game and IT industry to enhance its capabilities to bring games to different markets and platforms.
