Resolution Games is developer of VR video games with mixed reality features founded by Tommy Palm, a developer previously credited for the success of the popular Candy Crush Saga game.
The company’s latest title was announced in September 2024 (the mixed reality game, Home Sports). Previously, the company launched mixed reality first person shooter Spatial Ops (priced at USD 20), VR tennis game Racket Club (released in December 2023, priced at USD 25), Demeo, a VR RPG tabletop multiplayer game, which won the “VR game of the year” award in 2021 (released in May 2021, priced at USD 39), and PvP VR shooter Blaston (released in October 2020; free to play, with in-app purchases). Other titles such as Angry Birds VR, Acron, and Cook-out were also well-received by players and critics.
Resolution Games acquired Swedish studio Zenz VR, known for its VR zombie shooter HordeZ, in July 2022 to strengthen Resolution Games’ development capabilities. The company also acquired Zero Index (November 2021), a game studio and consulting firm that focuses on B2B services in the game and IT industry to enhance its capabilities to bring games to different markets and platforms.
As of January 2024, the company noted that its game titles were downloaded over 3 million times.
