PingIdentity provides intelligent identity solutions for enterprises. It allows organizations to implement identity-defined security and deliver personalized user experiences across cloud, mobile, SaaS, and on-premises applications by leveraging multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), access management, intelligent API security, directory, and data governance capabilities to secure the enterprise.

Ping Identity provides PingOne DaVinci, a no-code identity orchestration service that allows organizations to design digital user journeys spanning the entire identity lifecycle, including registration, verification, authentication, authorization, risk, fraud, privileged access, and governance. DaVinci streamlines the integration and deployment of identity services through a drag-and-drop interface and features over 100 connectors for various identity, IT, and automation services. Additionally, Ping Identity offers PingOne for Customers and PingOne for Workforce, offering tiered packages for customer and workforce identity and access management (IAM). These packages help organizations adopt and orchestrate cloud identity more easily by bundling core capabilities.

In August 2022, private equity firm Thoma Bravo acquired the company and took it private for USD 2.8 billion. Thoma Bravo's portfolio company ForgeRock was later integrated into Ping Identity. The combined company is positioned to better serve customers across the dynamic and fast-growing IAM market by providing enhanced products and services, broader geographic support, and increased innovation.
