Oden Technologies

Oden Technologies, originally founded in London but now headquartered in New York, offers an industrial IoT platform for manufacturers to analyze and optimize factory production via the Cloud. The company’s device is integrated with manufacturing machines, while its software adapters integrate data from the available enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and quality control software on the manufacturing line. Collected data is analyzed with the use of machine learning and predictive analytics to identify optimum factory performance. 

The company claims that its software will be able to increase output by 10%–25% with the same quality, make processes 10x faster, and improve first-pass yield (throughput yield) by 10%–50%. Interactive dashboards allow production metrics to be viewed in real time, and machine learning technologies enable instant alerts regarding machine failures to reduce unplanned downtime and reduce product quality failures. Oden Technologies states that the IoT software can be deployed in under 30 days. The company’s technology is used by manufacturers of wire and cable, building products, packaging, and automotive parts, in the US and the UK. 

In August 2023 , Oden Technologies announced the launch of “Process AI,” which focuses on improving operator productivity through prescriptive process-setting recommendations. Oden Technologies claims Process AI offers operators real-time process setup instructions that help it save material or energy costs or speed up production while preserving every run's quality specification, adhering to company-defined tolerances and considering current operational restrictions.  

Oden Technologies partnered with PTC (November 2021) to feature Oden's manufacturing analytics platform on the PTC Marketplace.

Oden Technologies’ most recent funding round was a Series A funding worth USD 10 million in July 2018, led by investor Atomico. The funds were intended to increase the headcount of the company’s R&D and engineering teams in New York and set up a new sales team to attract more customers in Ohio, Illinois, and Texas.
