WorkRamp is an enterprise learning platform that helps organizations create their own training content to educate their workforce and partners. The company is seeking to disrupt the traditional learning management system (LMS) market with its micro-learning platform. The WorkRamp platform distinguishes itself by empowering users to create their own training content. The platform also integrates with third-party providers for content creation and distribution. As of March 2022, WorkRamp hosted one million courses for its 300+ customers.

In February 2021, WorkRamp launched WorkRamp.org to partner with nonprofits and schools to provide learning opportunities to underserved communities through free and discounted access to the WorkRamp LMS; and the provision of WorkRamp employees as volunteers and consultants; as well as plans to build a WorkRamp.org Fund to support local schools and non-profit educational institutions and provide instructional design services to help organizations create diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. In March 2021, the company launched The WorkRamp Marketplace, containing a library of customizable content. WorkRamp also added new features including synced guide progress across all learning paths to avoid repetition, advanced user management functionality, and a choice of grading options. More recently, in September 2022, the firm launched "WorkRamp Content'' powered by content aggregator platform Go1 to provide users with access to a library of off-the-shelf content resources that can be curated to complement the organization's learning strategy for employee development and retention. In March 2023, the company launched a learning cloud to help employers further streamline learning.

In May 2022, the company acquired The Enablement Squad, which claims to be the largest online community for enablement professionals, for an undisclosed amount, supporting WorkRamp’s objective of investing in community building for its customers and training community members.

Key customers and partnerships

In July 2021, WorkRamp partnered with BambooHR, an HR platform for small and medium-sized enterprises, allowing WorkRamp users to sync employee data in BambooHR to automate and streamline onboarding and training programs.

Funding and financials

In March 2022, the company raised USD 40 million in a Series C funding round co-led by Salesforce Ventures, Slack Fund, and Susa Ventures, and will use the funds for product development as well as to build customer success programs and expand the team. The company also reported that its revenue tripled YoY.
