Farm. One operates an indoor vertical farm to grow a wide variety of microgreens, herbs and edible flowers for nearby establishments. Farm. One sells its products through its website and provides delivery or pick up services. The company can also construct custom farms for its clients, ranging from in-store displays (starting price at USD 5,000) to small commercial farms (starting price at USD 15,000) and large indoor farms. So far, the company has constructed mini farms for grocery stores, a restaurant and a culinary school.
The company's farm has a 1,500 sq ft showroom and private event space called "The Pavilion," which can accommodate up to 70 guests. Additionally, the farm plans to launch a new beverage program called "Farm. One" which will feature smoothies, seltzers, juices, and non-alcoholic beverages made with botanical ingredients grown on the farm. In February 2023, the farm completed its first weekly harvests of greens and salad mixes, which were then made available to local members. The farm has also resumed sales to high-end restaurants and was expected to be open to the public and offer tasting tours, classes, and events.
In April 2023, the company partnered with Surna Cultivation Technologies (Surna), a leader in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) systems engineering and technologies, for a holistic heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system design for Farm. One’s New York-based vertical farming facility.
In April 2023, Farm. One secured long-term growth capital from DK-Bell Holding Company using which Farm. One reopened its Neighborhood Farm in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.
