Germany-based Ada Health provides patients with a 24/7 symptom diagnosis app as well as a series of B2B solutions for healthcare providers and insurers including patient triage services and online bookings. As of May 2021, Ada’s app was downloaded by more than 11 million users across 150 countries and has supported nearly 23 million assessments since its launch in 2016.
In April 2023, Ada Health partnered with health system Jefferson Health to roll out Ada Health’s technology across Jefferson’s enterprise. Through the partnership, patients at Jefferson health facilities were able to self-triage any medical concerns they may have. Additionally, the app helped patients schedule virtual and in-person consultations, chat with physicians, and determine if a medical condition requires in-person intervention or can be managed at home. Patients at any of Jefferson’s 18 hospitals and more than 50 outpatient facilities were able to access Ada’s app through both Jefferson’s website and patient portal.
