Based in Denmark, Uizard develops a no-code platform that uses AI assisted design tools to create interactive prototypes for web and mobile apps. Users can develop prototype designs by photographing and uploading sketches drawn with pen and paper to the Uizard platform.
Uizard is fully browser based and utilizes drag-and-drop components and templates to design prototypes of mobile apps, web apps, websites, and desktop software.
Uizard launched out of beta in February 2021. As of August 2021, the platform had around 13,000 monthly active users, with more than 170,000 accounts created since launch. Its customers included large tech conglomerates including IBM, Google, Tesla, Apple, and Slack.
The company raised USD 15 million in Series A funding led by Insight Partners, in August 2021, to invest in expanding its marketing and commercial teams, primarily in Europe.
