Thirty Madison offers direct-to-consumer telehealth consultations, online prescriptions, and treatment delivery for chronic conditions. The specialist treatment is offered for a range of illnesses via four brands; Keeps (for men’s hair loss), Cove (for migraines), Nurx (for sexual and reproductive health), and Facet (for dermatology care).

The company claimed that its revenue tripled in 2020 while sales in Q1 2021 exceeded an annual run-rate of USD 100 million. As of November 2022, the company’s telehealth platform had more than 800,000 active members.

In February 2022, the telehealth unicorn announced it planned to merge with a specialty care platform Nurx in an all-stock deal. The company planned to widen its portfolio of products and services under the Thirty Madison brand via the acquisition. The integrated platform caters to nearly 750,000 patients, offering a range of specialty care services from birth control to chronic disease management. The combined company planned to grow its B2B operations via partnerships with national payers and employers. It expected revenue to reach USD 300 million in 2022

In June 2023, the company acquired assets from recently bankrupt online pharmacy provider The Pill Club in a deal valued at USD 32.3 million. The assets acquired include over 100,000 patient files, which will enable the company to provide continued care for those patients through its online birth control prescription plan, Nurx.

Key customers and partnerships

In April 2024 Thirty Madison partnered with Talkspace, an online therapy company, to bring mental health care to the former's members using its Nurx and Cove platforms. As part of the collaboration, Talkspace began providing therapy services to Nurx and Cove members via their respective platforms. While Nurx users already had access to treatments for depression and anxiety, along with medication management, the partnership provided Nurx and Cove members with the opportunity to connect with licensed therapists via Talkspace and benefit from its self-guided app. Talkspace users, on the other hand, were able to access migraine care from Cove and dermatological and reproductive health services for women from Nurx.

Funding and financials

In June 2021, the company raised USD 140 million in a Series C funding round led by new investor HealthQuest Capital along with existing investors including Polaris Partners and Johnson & Johnson Innovation. The funding was set aside to bolster the company’s proprietary platform capabilities and launching new brands for a wider range of chronic conditions. Thirty Madison also planned to enter the B2B market by partnering with employers and health plans to expand patient reach.
