 100Plus is a remote patient monitoring platform for seniors on Medicare. Practitioners review patient's illnesses and symptoms, and can recommend 100Plus devices to patients (blood glucose monitors, blood pressure cuffs, digital weight scales, and emergency watches). Devices send real-time patient data to medical practitioners for review, which enables providers to qualify for Medicare reimbursement under the remote patient monitoring program (approximately USD 720 per patient, per year in revenue). Likewise, eligible Medicare patients can receive devices at no cost.
 
 
 Since the launch of its remote patient monitoring platform in January 2020, the company has boosted revenue to USD 5 million in annual recurring revenue. In March 2021, 100Plus raised USD 25 million in seed funding to enhance its AI-driven patient engagement platform. The latest financing round increased the company valuation to around USD 150 million. Additionally, 100Plus has partnered with AdvancedMD, DrChrono, and athenahealth. Through these partnerships, 100Plus extended its reach to more than 250,000 medical practitioners.&nbsp;
 
 
 In August 2021, digital connected care company Connect America entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100Plus for an undisclosed amount. Following the acquisition, Connect America&rsquo;s personal emergency response services (PERS), RPM and medication management solutions will be integrated with 100Plus&rsquo;s AI technology to form a single care management platform.

The platform then uses this information, in addition to other relevant data points, to price its policies.Funding and financialsIn September 2021, the company raised USD 85 million in Series B funding at a valuation of USD 1.25 billion (up 4x from its valuation of USD 310 million in November 2020). The funding round was backed by existing investors which include Passion Capital, Investec, and Scor. The new funds intend to be directed toward developing new products in addition to expanding into new markets outside the UK.In FY2022, the company recorded revenue of GBP 22.9 million (a 175% YoY increase) and net profit of GBP 709,000. In addition, it had solve over 342,000 policies as of the same period.
