Indoor Robotics is a company that has developed Tando, an autonomous indoor drone fleet for security, monitoring, and operational tasks. Tando uses multiple sensors and proprietary algorithms to accurately map and navigate within any indoor space, allowing it to autonomously navigate above or around obstacles in its path. This enables Tando to secure and monitor large areas such as office buildings, warehouses, data centers, malls, and retail establishments.
Tando docks on the ceiling and functions as a security camera when not in flight. Powered by AI, the drone features a 360-degree camera, heat sensors, motion sensors, and leak sensors. In addition to security functions, Tando provides significant safety and operational improvements by collecting thermal imaging data, environmental data, recording room temperatures, identifying leaks, and enabling preventive maintenance by detecting areas requiring care.
In June 2022, Indoor Robotics raised USD 15 million in Series A funding led by Pitango, with participation from Target Global, European Innovation Council Fund, and Spider Capital. In September 2022, Champel Capital joined Indoor Robotics' USD 18 million Series A round. These funds enabled Indoor Robotics to boost product development and enable intelligent indoor security worldwide.
Indoor Robotics was founded in 2018 by Doron Ben David and Amit Moran. In April 2024, Indoor Robotics won the 2024 SIA New Products & Solutions Awards from the Security Industry Association. In December 2023, Indoor Robotics joined the Deloitte Launchpad program.
