AI21 Labs, founded in 2017 by Amnon Shashua, Yoav Shoham, and Ori Goshen in Tel Aviv, Israel, is a leader in generative AI and large language models (LLMs). The company specializes in developing AI systems capable of understanding and generating human-like text. AI21 Labs' flagship product is AI21 Studio, a developer platform that enables businesses to create custom text-based applications using the company's proprietary language models, including the advanced Jurassic-2 model. The Jurassic-2 family of models is offered in three sizes: Large, Grande, and Jumbo, each with a separate instruction-tuned version.
