Founded in 2017 by Drew and Ashley Rose, Living Security provides a security awareness training program with the mission of making cybersecurity training more engaging and effective through gamified learning. The training platform offers live-action immersive storylines, role-based micro modules, and data reporting.
The company’s flagship product is Cyber Escape Room, an in-person training program with an online version, CyberEscape Online, that was launched following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Living Security also introduced Unify, its human risk management platform, that uses behavioral data and analytics to measure and manage human risk and suggest interventions. As of March 2021, Living Security works with more than 100 large enterprises to train their employees.
In April 2021, the company announced several new updates including a phishing simulation module, a moderator-free version of CyberEscape Online, the translation of its training modules into seven languages, enhanced reporting and analytics features, single sign-on, and a training campaign builder. In June 2021, Living Security announced the formation of a new chief information security officer (CISO) Advisory Board comprising experts across various industries, to provide guidance on new innovations whilst pursuing the company’s mission.
