Founded in 2018 by Dr. Alexander Young who created a virtual reality (VR) environment for medical training, Bristol-based Virti provides a VR training platform for enterprises. The platform can be used across mobile or desktop devices or VR/augmented reality (AR) headsets, and its analytics engine captures data across all three and provides objective and measurable feedback. The platform also contains a cloud-based, no-code simulation creation suite allowing organizations to build their own training modules. The platform is being used in the healthcare sector, and by universities, corporations, and public sector organizations.
In June 2021, the company Virti raised USD 10 million in Series A funding for international growth, and research into new technologies. The company also announced the appointment of Oracle alumni, Kurt Kratchman and Mark Ashworth, as CRO and CFO/COO, respectively.
