Nerd Street Gamers (NSG) is an esports infrastructure company with a network of esports facilities in Philadelphia, Denver, and Huntington Beach, California, used for training and competitive tournaments. NSG also offers a monthly subscription service Nerd Street+ (launched in November 2020) providing users access to live and digital competitions organized by NSG. It also launched an amateur esports tournament circuit called Nerd Street Champs, a hybrid of online and LAN competitions, in March 2022.
The subscription costs USD 20 per month for both live and digital event access while the digital-only subscription costs USD 5 per month.
The company’s esports gaming centers have been closed owing to Covid-19 pandemic-related shutdowns; however, NSG’s digital offerings have been performing well. Its digital esports platform has seen 219% membership growth since 2019.
