Based in the UK, AMFG offers a manufacturing execution system (MES) and workflow automation software for additive manufacturing (AM). Some of the use cases include rapid prototyping, spare parts, and serial production targeting automotive, industrial goods, consumer goods, and aerospace applications. The software includes several product modules including order management to automate and standardize order management workflows, centralized ordering platform, machine connectivity, post-processing and quality management, creating and managing digital inventory for AM applications, production planning, analytics, and reporting. AMFG operated in 30+ countries as of January 2024.
Key customers and partnerships
AMFG has partnered with several companies to optimize and standardize AM workflow including Sigma Labs (March 2022) and EOS (November 2019). In September 2021, the company partnered with AM company Stratasys’ GrabCAD software partner program to integrate AMFG’s software with Stratasys FDM systems and GrabCAD software. In December 2020, AMFG partnered with HP to enable data streaming and connectivity for HP Multi Jet Fusion systems through AMFG’s software.
In November 2023, AMFG partnered with Dyndrite to use its automated nesting system in AMFG's software for an optimized pre-production process.
Funding and financials
In November 2022, AMFG raised USD 8.5 million led by Intel Capital to scale the company’s AM processes and continue to expand business reach.
