Spero Foods is a plant-based alternative dairy producer specializing in plant-based cheese. The company has a portfolio of cheese varieties that ranges from cream cheese and cheese spreads to alternative flavored goat cheeses.

Spero Foods expanded its offering with the launch of Smoked Salmon Sunflower Cream Cheese and Sunflower Cheddar Cheese under its Sunflower Cheese lineup in July 2021 . The products are made from organic sunflower seeds, water, organic coconut oil, spices, vegetables, and probiotic cultures. The newly launched Smoked Salmon Sunflower Cream Cheese also made an appearance at Expo West 2021. In December 2022 , the company launched Pepita Egg adding to its plant-based egg portfolio. Made with only seven ingredients, the product is claimed to be the first and only clean-label egg product that is pourable and can be used for cooking or baking. Spero Foods products are sold across the US at WholeFoods, Sprouts Farmers Market, and via the Spero online store.

As of October 2023, the company possesses twenty-one global patents and patents pending and novel process engineering for plant-based dairy products.

In October 2023, the company became an operating subsidiary of food tech company Superlatus, following an all-cash asset purchase acquisition.
