The farm is located in Faribault, Minnesota, where plants only grow a few months every year. The company aims to give Midwesterners access to high quality greens year-round. In February 2021, Living Greens Farm announced that it will expand its geographical reach by selling to specialty, independent, and co-op retailers in the upper Midwest. The company’s products, such as ready-to-eat salads, will be carried by UNFI Produce Prescott starting this month. UNFI Produce Prescott is a division of United Natural Foods (UNFI), which distributes a wide variety of food products to thousands of stores across the country.
In March 2022 , Living Greens farm announced plans to invest USD 70 million to build a 200,000 sq ft facility in Muncie, Indiana, which was expected to open in early 2023. The facility is expected to serve markets in the north, south, and east US and also to better supply its retail partners.
In June 2023, the company partnered with Certhon , a greenhouse construction company, to expand Living Greens Farm's aeroponic growing technology outside North America.
