Blue White Robotics is an Israeli startup that operates a robot-as-a-services business model and offers autonomous technology solutions for industrial needs, mainly in agriculture, but also for delivery and mobility. The company is active in Israel, the US, and South America.
Blue White offers a self-driving tractor kit (which converts existing tractors into autonomous tractors), and a software platform (which helps operate and manage the on-ground and on-air fleet of autonomous vehicles such as tractors, robots, or drones). The company provides a complete solution for easy adoption of autonomous technologies for farmers while supporting them with planning and actionable insights to improve yield (from timing sprays to seeding to harvesting decisions).
The technology has reportedly been piloted across farms in California. Furthermore, Blue White Robotics claims that its technology’s precision is 99% and improves efficiency by 300%. Blue White Robotics has partnered with the 5G Open Innovation Lab (a global ecosystem formed to support 5G deployment) which will allow the company to process high-volume data that is required by its autonomous farm platform and provide full connectivity across autonomous farms in the future. In September 2021, the company raised USD 37 million in a Series B funding round led by Insight Partners and Entrée Capital. The funds were to be directed toward promoting the company’s technology among customers, increasing sales across the US, and scaling its team internationally.
