Sibros offers a connected vehicle platform dubbed “Deep Connected Platform” for global auto manufacturers to provide over-the-air (OTA) software updates and configurations to vehicle systems, collect vehicle data, and transmit remote diagnostic commands to track repairs and other technical requirements. Its “OTA Deep Logger” collects connected vehicle data from electronic control units (ECUs) and network domains; “Bootloaders” enable secure firmware OTA updates; “OTA Deep Updater” sends deep and secure software updates; “OTA Command Manager” activates remote command services and diagnostics; while pre-built in-vehicle “Network Stacks” accelerate vehicle-to-cloud integration.

Key customers and partnerships

Its customers include cars, trucks, buses, bikes and tractor manufacturers, and electric vehicle (EV) startups in the solar and commercial industries. The list includes Sono Motors, a solar electric vehicle manufacturer (July 2021), Volta Trucks, an electric commercial vehicle manufacturer (September 2021), Lightyear One, a solar electric vehicle manufacturer (November 2021), Bajaj for its Chetak electric scooter fleet (January 2022), Next.e.GO Mobile SE for its new vehicle models (November 2022), and automotive component manufacturer Marelli (January 2023) , and Indian multinational OEM Mahindra and Mahindra (January 2023).

The company also has partnerships with 1) Google Cloud to deliver intelligent and flexible connected vehicle-to-cloud solutions for auto manufacturers (August 2022); 2) iWave Global, a provider of embedded systems and ODM (original design manufacturer) solutions, to integrate Sibros' OTA platform into iWave's Rugged Telematics Device (August 2023); 3) Accolade Electronics, an India-based provider of connected telematics solutions, to optimize power efficiency, reduce hardware costs, and expedite deployment processes (November 2023); and Cavli Wireless, an IoT enablement solutions company, to enhance IoT connectivity (March 2024).

Funding and financials

In November 2022, Sibros received an undisclosed amount of funds from Global Brain Corporation to strengthen its presence in India and expand overseas operations to Japan. Previously, in February 2022, the company raised USD 70 million in a Series B funding round led by Energy Impact Partners (EIP). The company intended to utilize the funds to expand reach globally and to secure larger customer deployments.
