UK-based Apricity leverages AI with personalized human care to increase the chances of conception for users. The company offers bespoke options for diagnostics and fertility treatments, consultations with fertility specialists, personalized fertility advice seven days a week, an AI-powered fertility predictor, and support, video consultations, online fertility assessments, a fertility care app, and egg donation through its sister company Altrui. Apricity helps users connect with fertility specialists and nurses who are available seven days a week during extended hours through the Apricity app. Apricity’s fertility predictor uses AI and data from the UK’s Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) to identify the best treatment option, for free. The Apricity mobile app provides users with medication reminders, tailored guidance, and a fertility overview, alongside curated videos and articles. Apricity operates through a network of fertility clinics, doctors, and specialists. The firm also offers egg freezing, frozen embryo transfer, sperm freezing, and embryo freezing services to preserve eggs and sperm for future use.
In May 2022, Apricity acquired Spain-based period and fertility monitoring and tracking app Woom . Woom leverages AI to offer pregnancy and menopausal support. It also creates a community of women which can connect with each other for advice and support. The acquisition boosted Apricity’s fertility offerings to enable it to provide support throughout all stages of a pregnancy, accelerated its international expansion beyond France and the UK, and increased its lead generation, user engagement, and AI optimization.
