Valqari develops a patented landing platform for delivery drones called “Drone Delivery Station” (DDS) for both business and residential use. The DDS features precise internal mechanisms to ensure reliable package handling between drones and secure lockers, regardless of the drone's payload positioning. It supports diverse network connectivity, including mobile, LEO satellite, and Wi-Fi for seamless integration with delivery software. The station is AC powered, with potential for future enhancements like battery backup and solar charging, for cost-effective and adaptable operations. Its drone delivery solution is reported to have utility patents in 16 countries, including the US, the UK, Germany, and China.
Valqari acquired UK-based drone infrastructure company IDU Group in September 2022 to complement its business.
