ChartHop is a platform which assists in organizing, measuring, and evaluating employee data and performance. The platform utilizes 360 feedback and engagement surveys to carry out performance reviews. In addition, it also stores data on hands-on meetings, costs and compensation, and engagement and retention to assist in business decision making. Further, the tool connects with existing HR systems such as BambooHR, ADP, SAP, and Workday to organize employee data in one place.
The company launched a free version of its platform in May 2022 , in line with its aim to appeal to startups. This was followed by the launch of ‘Compensation Reviews’ (June 2022), to streamline employee compensation review by pulling payroll and equity data from systems.
Its subscription packages range from USD 3.50-10.00 per employee per month, and also has an enterprise package with custom pricing.
Key customers and partnerships
As of January 2023, the company had ~520 customers on its platform.
In February 2022, ChartHop partnered with Jobvite, a talent acquisition suite provider, to enable HR, hiring, and finance to improve communication across teams, increase data visibility, and automate certain hiring workflows.
Funding and financials
In January 2023, Charthop raised USD 25 million in a Series C funding round led by Cox Enterprises, with participation from existing investor Andreessen Horowitz. Funds were earmarked to improve its platform and as part of the investment, Andrew Davis, Senior Vice President at Cox Enterprises, will join Charthop’s Board of Directors.
Notably, Charthop stated that it had quadrupled its annual revenue (est USD 10 million), quadrupled its active users and tripled the number of paying customers since raising its Series B round in June 2021.
