In April 2021, the firm raised USD 71 million in venture round funding led by Dragoneer Investment Group and T. Rowe Price. Just 5 months later, Canva raised an additional USD 200 million by T. Rowe Price and was valued at USD 40 billion, making it the 5th most valuable startup in the world. The firm claims to be on track to hit USD 1 billion in annualized revenue for 2021. During 2022, the firm plans to utilize its funding to double its team size from its current 2,000+ employees.
