Fluence, a Nasdaq-listed company offering long-duration energy storage solutions and AI-enabled energy storage optimization software, has partnered with Rich Electric, a Taiwanese developer of power and energy control products.
Under the partnership, the two companies will deploy a 100 megawatt battery-based energy storage system in Hualien, Taiwan. This project will also support Taipower’s Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) services and is expected to become Fluence’s largest ACF project in Taiwan.
The project is expected to be completed by mid-2023.
<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: Fluence had previously partnered with Centrica and Google to deploy a 2.75-megawatt Gridstack energy storage product at the data center in Saint-Ghislain, Belgium. The company has deployed and contracted more than 4.8 gigawatts of energy storage systems globally to date.</ul>
