Dronamics to manufacture drones in partnership with Quickstep Holdings

Product updates
Partnerships

 • Dronamics, a Bulgarian cargo drone manufacturer, has entered into a manufacturing partnership with Quickstep Holdings, an Australia-based aerospace composites firm and a tier 1 manufacturer, to produce its cargo delivery drone “Black Swan.” This marks Dronamics’ first manufacturing collaboration, taking its prototype version to production.

 • The companies plan to manufacture “hundreds of drones” annually over 2023–2026 at Quickstep’s facilities in Australia.

Analyst QuickTake: Today’s partnership marks a significant milestone for Dronamics, as it prepares to launch operations later this year. The company also obtained the Light UAS Operator Certificate (LUC) from the civil aviation authorities in Malta just two months ago. This allows the company to self-authorize beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) flights using its Black Swan drone across the EU.
