Goggo Network, a German autonomous mobility solutions provider, is collaborating with the Zaragoza City Council to deploy delivery droids in Zaragoza, Spain. This marks the first Spanish city to start droid-based deliveries.
The company intends to deploy 80 droids in the city under a four-phase project. The first phase will continue till September, during which the company will be conducting simulations in selected areas to demonstrate the safety of operations.
The droids will be deployed for last-mile deliveries toward the latter phases, where the company will be partnering with local businesses to offer delivery services.
