Lytics, a cloud-based customer data platform (CDP) and customer analytics and intelligence platform, announced the launch of Lytics Private Instance (a CDP solution for companies with strict compliance requirements) and Lytics Private Cloud (a CDP solution for companies in regulated industries) on the Google Cloud environment.
As a result, users of Lytics Private Instance would have increased flexibility in terms of server locations and can access fully managed services. Lytics Private Cloud users would be able to deploy Lytics CDP within the business’ own instance of Google Cloud, as a single tenant. The firm claims this gives users complete control of budgeting, resource allocation, and permissions along with deeper access to hosting and performance-related metrics.
In addition, enterprise users would have greater flexibility to adopt the Lytics CDP platform while remaining compliant with privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA using their own private solutions or tools supported by Google Cloud.

Analyst QT: The launch of Lytics CDP solutions within the Google Cloud environment is likely to facilitate enterprise users to leverage its solutions where compliance with privacy regulations is a key concern. A number of other CDP platforms including Acquia which added a “ right to erasure ” feature to its CDP and Tealium which launched a HIPPA-compliant pharma CDP are examples of new privacy features introduced to cater to enterprise users.
