Raise3D introduces 32 new industrial filaments

Product updates

  • Raise3D, a seller of 3D printers and related products, announced the introduction of 32 new industrial filaments compatible with its E2CF 3D printer.

  • The new filaments are reported to have a high strength-to-weight ratio, making them suitable for applications including automotive, aerospace, and healthcare. The materials can be used to make jigs, fixtures, tools, and end-user parts.

  • The filaments have been developed in collaboration with 16 filament manufacturers including Polymaker, BASF Forward AM, Jabil, Covestro, eSUN, Extrudr, FiberThree, Grupa Azoty, Handtmann, Kexcelled, Kimya, LEHVOSS, NHH, RadiciGroup High-Performance Polymers, Spectrum Filaments, and TreeD. These companies participate in Raise3D’s Open Filament Program to make filaments compatible with the Raise3D E2CF printer.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Raise3D introduced the E2CF printer in August last year and was available commercially since January 2022. The company has been operating with a partner network to identify filaments that are compatible with the printer to ensure its customers have access to a range of filaments. Raise3D’s competitor, Nexa3D , also partnered with material companies like BASF, Covestro, Henkel, Evonik, and Arkema.
