Raise3D, a seller of 3D printers and related products, announced the introduction of 32 new industrial filaments compatible with its E2CF 3D printer.
The new filaments are reported to have a high strength-to-weight ratio, making them suitable for applications including automotive, aerospace, and healthcare. The materials can be used to make jigs, fixtures, tools, and end-user parts.
The filaments have been developed in collaboration with 16 filament manufacturers including Polymaker, BASF Forward AM, Jabil, Covestro, eSUN, Extrudr, FiberThree, Grupa Azoty, Handtmann, Kexcelled, Kimya, LEHVOSS, NHH, RadiciGroup High-Performance Polymers, Spectrum Filaments, and TreeD. These companies participate in Raise3D’s Open Filament Program to make filaments compatible with the Raise3D E2CF printer.
Analyst QuickTake: Raise3D introduced the E2CF printer in August last year and was available commercially since January 2022. The company has been operating with a partner network to identify filaments that are compatible with the printer to ensure its customers have access to a range of filaments. Raise3D’s competitor, Nexa3D , also partnered with material companies like BASF, Covestro, Henkel, Evonik, and Arkema.
