Pico Interactive, a subsidiary of ByteDance, has launched its newest VR headset; Pico 4 Enterprise. The headset is tailored for business use cases such as training, upskilling, video conferencing, and metaverse-based collaborations.
The Pico 4 Enterprise features a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor, a 4K display at 1200 pixels per inch, 2160 x 2160 resolution, a 105-degree field of view, pancake lenses, and spatial audio. The specifications are almost the same as the Pico 4 VR headset (announced in September ) except for the addition of eye and face tracking with 6 degrees of freedom.
The Pico 4 Enterprise and the recently announced Meta Quest Pro provide similar features such as pass-through video in color and eye and face tracking. However, the Pico enterprise headset seems to have the advantage when it comes to pricing as it retails at EUR 899 (~USD 880) compared to the USD 1,499 price tag of the Meta Quest Pro.
