3D Systems, a seller of 3D printers and related products, announced that it entered into a partnership with Swedish 3D printing company Wematter, to expand its selective laser sintering (SLS) portfolio.
3D Systems will become the exclusive worldwide distributor of Gravity, a 3D printing system by Wematter that makes additive manufacturing accessible in smaller environments.
The Wematter Gravity, which is currently available in the EMEA region, is planned to be made available in the Americas and APAC regions in the first half of 2023.
Analyst QuickTake: This news comes just a week after 3D Systems partnered with ALM to add 3D Systems’ DuraForm PAx material to ALM’s portfolio enabling its customers to use a unique copolymer compatible with available SLS technologies.
