Retreat, a VR-based life wellness app, received an Immersive Learning Fund grant worth USD 400,000 from Meta.
The grant will accompany the launch of the Retreat app on the MetaQuest store in December 2022.
Founded in 2020, GeniusX is the developer of Retreat which claims to be the first VR app that focuses on life improvement and wellness. The app will feature a catalog of personal growth and development courses, along with the instructors and their inspiration for the course. This includes topics such as art, career, entrepreneurship, financial well-being, and relationships.
