Miovision raises USD 260 million in growth funding

Funding

  • Miovision, a Canadian traffic flow management solution provider, raised USD 260 million in a growth funding round co-led by TELUS Ventures, Maverix Private Equity, and Export Development Canada (EDC), bringing its total funding to ~USD 400 million.

  • The company plans to use the funds for both internal and external growth initiatives, including integrating new acquisitions and investing more in product development.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Miovision was quick to leverage its latest funding round which coincided with its acquisition of Global Traffic Technologies (GTT) coupled with new product developments, where it expects to add new applications to its platform.
