A2Z Drone Delivery releases latest delivery drone “RDSX Pelican”

Product updates

  • A2Z Drone Delivery (A2Z), a commercial drone solutions developer, has released its new flagship delivery drone “RDSX Pelican.” The unit is now open for pre-orders starting at USD 29,000 with deliveries expected to commence in June 2023.

  • The RDSX Pelican is available in three model variations suitable for multiple applications including last-mile delivery and other logistics operations. The models include 1) a drone equipped with its drone delivery winch system, which is ideal for delivering payloads from altitude; 2) a drone with a simplified servo-release mechanism that can carry heavier payloads and safely land to deposit them; and 3) a customized version that can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of unique missions, such as drone inspection deployments, search and rescue missions, etc.

  • The drone can fly at a maximum speed of roughly 52 mph, carrying up to 15–18 lbs and covering a range of 31 miles without payload (25 miles with an 11 lbs payload).
