Zipline, a drone-based delivery services provider, has partnered with health and wellness brand GNC, Seattle-based pizza restaurant Pagliacci Pizza, and medical courier service Associated Couriers to commence drone-based deliveries for respective customers using its latest drone delivery system, “P2.”
GNC will initially commence deliveries from its stores in Salt Lake City, Utah, later this year, with plans to expand geographic reach in 2024. Pagliacci Pizza will launch the service in the greater Seattle area, Washington, for its customers, while Associated Couriers will initially target healthcare facilities on Long Island, New York, with plans to expand the service across the US and even internationally in the future.
Zipline has not specified the timeline to commence operations or the number of drones that would be deployed for the projects.
