NUBURU makes first delivery of 3D printers to Essentium

Partnerships

  • NUBURU, a seller of 3D printers and related products, announced that it has delivered multiple 3D printer units to additive manufacturing solutions provider Essentium.

  • Essentium has started to integrate NUBURU’s proprietary blue laser technology with its High Speed Extrusion (HSETM) 3D-printing technology to offer additive manufacturing services with improved part quality and scaled use in industries like automotive, aerospace, and defense.

  • NUBURU plans to deliver more units to Essentium through 2023 and Essentium plans to expand its operations across new applications and markets using the technology.

  • Analyst QuickTake: NUBURU and Essentium first partnered in May 2022 to develop a new blue laser-based metal 3D-printing technology. The deliveries announced represent the initial implementation of this agreement. On a separate note, NUBURU also partnered with US government agencies, including the US Department of Defense and the US Air Force to utilize blue laser technology.
