SiMa.ai, a system-on-chips (SoC) manufacturer for edge computing, raised an additional USD 13 million in funding from investors including VentureTech Alliance and Navin Chaddha. This round brings the company's total funding to USD 200 million.
In conjunction with the new funding, the company also launched its Partner Program, which will include a number of strategic go-to-market partners including e-con Systems, Inventec Corporation, LIPS Corporation, and iWave. SiMa.ai aims to enable its partners to develop solutions to increase customer ML adoption via its own machine learning system on a Chip (MLSoC) platform.
Analyst QuickTake: The US-based edge AI processor manufacturing space has seen a recent influx of funding with companies such as Axelera , EdgeQ , and Mythic raising USD 23 million , USD 75 million , and USD 13 million , respectively, in the last 3 months.
