Meati (formerly Emergy Food), a developer of mycelium-based meat alternatives, has partnered with PIPA, an AI company, to better understand and improve the health benefits of its plant-based meats.
The collaboration aims to utilize AI to accelerate research and gain insights into the health benefits of Meati's products made from mycelium. Further, it will help identify opportunities for new products that leverage the taste, nutrition, and sustainability advantages of mycelium.
This news follows the establishment of Meati’s scientific advisory board , launched to conduct research on the nutritional profile of Meati’s products and understand their impact on human health.
