Renewal Mill, a California-based producer of upcycled food ingredients using the byproducts of plant-based milk, has debuted its 100% upcycled flour blend, RenewALL, at the annual IFT FIRST conference event in Chicago.
RenewALL 100% Upcycled Blend, upcycled from food manufacturing byproducts like okara (soy bean pulp), oat milk pulp, and corn fines, is a neutral-tasting, pale tan flour that is stated to offer more fiber and protein per serving than whole wheat flour. It can be used as a substitute for all-purpose flour or conventional alternative gluten-free flour blends in various baked goods like cakes, cookies, muffins, and crackers.
