CHOOOSE partners with Pegasus Airlines to track flight emissions

Partnerships

  • CHOOOSE, a Norway-based carbon offsetting startup, has partnered with Pegasus Airlines, a Turkish airline provider, to assess the carbon footprint of airline customers.

  • Under the partnership, Pegasus customers will be able to estimate the CO2 emissions of their flights by integrating the CHOOOSE carbon offset platform into the former’s booking solution. The latter’s platform will also provide passengers and corporate travel managers the option to contribute toward verified sustainability initiatives, such as SAF adoption.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Previously, in February 2023 , CHOOOSE announced a similar strategic partnership with JetBlue, an airline provider, to scale up the use of SAF by allowing passengers to make a contribution toward a fund that covers the cost premium of SAF over conventional jet fuel.
