Aria raises EUR 15 million in Series A funding to support global expansion

Funding

  • France-based Aria, a digital payments and receipts management platform, has raised EUR 15 million (~USD 16.2 million) in Series A funding led by 13books Capital, with participation from Adevinta Ventures, Ankaa Ventures, Otium Capital, and a few angel investors. Aria's total funding now stands at EUR 69 million (~USD 74.4 million).

  • The company earmarked the funds to support the expansion of its business model and product offerings, particularly focused on the global SaaS market.

  • Aria currently has processed payments of more than EUR 500 million from nearly 30,000 businesses and freelancers with invoice values of EUR 500–20,000.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The payment and subscription infrastructure space has seen several companies raising early-stage funding recently. For instance, Rainforest raised USD 11.75 million in funding (in October), and PortX raised USD 16.5 million in Series B funding (in September) primarily for product developments.
