Arrive (formerly DroneDek), a developer of landing platforms for drone deliveries, has partnered with AllMart Marketplace, an online retail platform, to introduce its smart mailbox delivery platforms in Antigua.
Initially, Arrive will install up to 25 smart mailboxes in Antigua to improve AllMart's delivery services. These smart mailboxes, operable through personalized identification numbers, will guard against damage or loss due to the current one-size-fits-all delivery methods.
The partnership also leaves room for future advancements such as drone delivery.
Analyst QuickTake: Today’s news comes on the heels of Arrive merging with Bruush Oral Care, a Canada-based oral care company, to go public with a focus on advancing Arrive's smart mailbox-as-a-service platform. Arrive’s previous acquisition of AirBox Technologies, which provides IoT-connected and lockable mailbox solutions for end-point delivery, would also be instrumental in boosting this deployment plan.
