Beyond Meat, a manufacturer of plant-based meat substitutes, has announced its fourth-generation product line, Beyond IV, unveiling new versions of Beyond Burger and Beyond Beef. These upgraded products aim to create a more enjoyable eating experience while offering potential health benefits.
Beyond IV products contain avocado oil, peas, brown rice, red lentils, and faba beans, and claim to offer 21 g of protein per serving, 2 g of saturated fat, and a 20% reduction in sodium content compared to the previous version. Additionally, the products are free from GMOs, added hormones, and antibiotics.
The nutritional enhancements in the Beyond IV platform have earned the company recognition from leading health organizations, including the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, and Good Housekeeping.
Analyst QuickTake: This is not the first time Beyond Meat has received recognition from the American Heart Association. In May 2023 , it received certification from the American Heart Association’s Heart-Check Food Certification Program, making it the first plant-based meat brand to attain this milestone.
